Important Notice:

Chadwicks will no longer be providing cafeteria services for our school. Their final date of operation will be Friday, March 13th. The school, in an attempt to maintain a lunch program for students, will be taking over the cafeteria in day to day operations.

In order to address some of the complaints by students and staff, we will be lowering costs on most items and serving bigger portions. We will also be revising the menu to offer more varieties of food on a rotational basis. The students have also expressed interest in having a make your own sub bar on Fridays like we had a few years ago. We have listened to the students, and are basing the menu on some of the ideas and feedback that we have received from them.

Student Meal Deal Cards can be purchased from the office for $35 which will pay for 10 meals. We are also hoping to establish an interact terminal in the cafeteria at some point, but for now, starting on March 23rd, students will be able to pay for their meal beforehand using the debit machine in the office, and simply show their receipt to the cafeteria workers. The price of a meal will be reduced to $4.00 including drink, from the now current $4.55. We are also working with OH Armstrong to ensure that our menu reflects the Food and Nutrition Policy of the province while keeping meals and desserts tasty and affordable.

We hope that this changeover is smooth for everyone involved, but we require your patience and understanding during the transition period. Any student who is interested in volunteering in the cafeteria on a rotational basis, please see Mrs. Jamieson who will schedule your work time. Volunteers will receive a free lunch on the day that they are scheduled to work.
